about

This was the last song recorded for the EP. I worked on it on and off since July 2010 (crazy huh!?) The title was derived from a scene in the movie "Hot Tub Time Machine" in which the great white buffalo is a metaphor for "the one that got away." I knew I wanted "the one that got away" to be a primary theme after a break up I went through early summer of this year. The title is very tongue in cheek for a not so jokey kind of song. No collabs in this one and it wasn't intended to be a quick 2 minute song. But I think its a good opener, nice and to the point.

lyrics

LYRICS:

I never thought this day would come. You say you need some time alone, to retrieve the pieces from the past and now my heart is burning black and..

I don't know what to do with myself anymore. I don't know what to do with myself. So dull my senses and convince me its alright.

And that this nightmare will fade just like our memories, that were torn apart and left behind just like my fucking heart.

I don't know what to do with myself anymore. I don't know what to do with myself. So dull my senses and convince me its alright.

This feeling just won't go away and I feel so alone. So what did I do wrong and why did you have to go. (2x)
